Meet Serla from Albania! Serla shares her journey on returning natural as she ditches the straighteners and diffusers and instead heals her 'very prone to breakage' curls.
What inspired you to return natural?
Hello, I am Serla and I live in Albania. I am a Medicine student in my second year of study. Currently 20 years old, I decided to embrace my natural hair after years of damage using a diffuser and straighteners. My hair was extremely dry with no shape, it was also very prone to breakage. I had a very difficult time detangling my hair, it would take a lot of effort and about 20 minutes. I started searching on the internet for the best products and guess whaaat.. Flora and Curl reviews and ingredients made my expectations for my loose, damaged waves rise. And the products didn’t disappoint me at all. I was simply amazed. The texture was fascinating and I could never imagine my hair would someday look like that.

What is your current Flora & Curl haircare routine?
Since my hair can be dry and brittle, I use the Hydrate Me range. To begin with, I use the Rose Water Cream Shampoo which leaves my hair very soft, then I use the Rose Water Detangling Lotion to detangle them easily without damaging the hair. I style using the Sweet Hibiscus Curl Activating Lotion and Sweet Hibiscus Curl Defining Gel from their Style Me Range.
