I've been using this product for several years in combo with a few other curly styling products from a couple of different curly brands. I have 3A curly hair, which is very fine, but also very dense, i.e., there's a lot of it, so it needs a lot of help to create nice curl, because the curl, on its own, isn't very defined. It's always a balancing act to figure out what to use and how much, but I think this gel is a real help, and if I leave it out, my curl is not as defined and doesn't last as well. The other good thing is that I have a lot of allergies/chemical sensitivities and I tolerate this product with no issues.
Would you recommend it to a friend?: No
I was so excited to use this product but it did not work for me at all. My hair got frizzy and felt dirty no matter how much I used and in what combination. I communicated with the company and followed every suggestion they offered. Unfortunately, they would not refund my money since the products had been used. Not sure how you would know the product doesn’t work without trying it first. I guess I’ve learned my lesson about believing what I see on Facebook.

I never thought I’d find a product that would bring back my natural curly hair after peri menopause, my hair is thicker with loads less frizz with every use it seems to get better , I used to wash my hair every 2nd day and now I’m going 5-7 days with just a quick spay of water and re scrunch in between washes

It felt like I had paste in my hair when I used the shampoo. Was very hard to rinse out also. Would not recommend. And their return policy is crap.

It certainly shouldn’t feel difficult to rinse out. Using a smaller amount, applying to very wet hair, and focusing on cleansing the scalp first before letting the lather run through the lengths can help with rinse-out. That said, we completely understand that not every formula will be the right fit for everyone’s hair, and we’re sorry this was your experience.

It’s pretty good for getting curl definition but it is quite heavy when using all three. (The instructions say “use a generous amount” but I find 2 pumps is plenty - very thick mid-length hair). BUT - it’s no better than many other far cheaper products! And again, I’m not a fan of the smell. So I will use it up but probably won’t purchase it again.
