It didn’t work for my hair as my strands turned out flaky. I used it on wet hair for my twist outs and tried a second time using less of the product and the result was the same - still flaky. I have since bought from another hair company which has worked well with my hair. Your product smells great though. It’s just a shame it didn’t go well with my 4c hair

In our experience, flakiness can sometimes occur when there’s a little too much product applied or when there is existing product build-up on the hair. This is why we generally recommend a less-is-more approach with our products, applying small amounts and building up gradually as needed. That said, we completely appreciate that sometimes a product simply doesn’t work as well for a particular hair type or routine.
While we’re sorry to hear you’ve found better results elsewhere, we’re really glad you enjoyed the scent of the products! Thank you again for giving Flora & Curl a try and for sharing your honest experience with us.

Unfortunately I could not work out which to use first and my hair felt overloaded with product and not much curl

Our Styling Kit is designed to be used in layers, but we always recommend a less-is-more approach, particularly when you're first getting to know the products. Starting with small amounts and building up gradually can help you find the right balance for your hair without weighing it down.

Love this product, it leaves the hair feeling very nourished and protected. I have been using it on my daughters who swim a lot and their hair has definitely improved in softness and doesn't feel brittle at all anymore. I would highly recommend.
