Step 1 - Activate Waves
Sweet Hibiscus Curl Activating Lotion
Apply into the palm of your hands. Work it into damp or wet hair and gently detangle. This lotion is great for detangling and activating your curl pattern before styling.

Step 2 - Define Waves
Sweet Hibiscus Curl Defining Gel
Apply into your palm and work it into your hair strands and gently scrunch your waves from the bottom.

Step 3 - Volumize
Sweet Hibiscus Curl Volumizing Foam
For added volume, pump 1-2 times into palms. Apply while smoothing down the length of a section of your waves. Allow waves to form, then air dry to set curls.

A hooded dryer or a diffuser may be used for faster drying times.

I first purchased the curl foam and used as a stand alone product when I found my current product wasn’t working for my hair anymore.
Wow. My curl's were defined and had volume but no crunchy residue.
I then invested in the shampoo & conditioner and again, even when wet I noticed a different in my curl pattern. They felt hydrated and healthy.
I then went all in and bought the three step, activating lotion, gel & foam.
I like using the lotion to put on my hair soaking wet, then use a hair wrap to start the drying process.
Only thing I’d say, is I’m not sure if both the gel & foam are needed? Is just one ok? Also what order to use them in? I feel using gel before the foam doesn’t make sense? I’m happy to be corrected here as I would happily use all the products, but obviously they are pricey so it’s a lot to keep up.

If you're layering your products, we'd suggest:
1. Apply the Curl Activating Lotion to soaking wet hair (as you already do - great choice!).
2. Then use the gel to define your curls and set them in place.
3. Follow with a light layer of foam to boost volume, applying it mid-lengths to ends to add lift and an extra layer of hold to your style.
If you're trying to save or simplify, you can absolutely alternate between the gel and the foam based on how your hair is feeling that day - gel for more definition and hold, foam for volume and ligthness.

Really pleased with my results considering I have tried loads of brands in the past. My hair had definition and volume. Even on day 3 refresh I used either mousse or gel and got a good result. Will definitely buy again
