I use the volumising foam between washes and with the activating lotion and gel, often to go out in the evenings to give extra control. It has a lovely natural feel on my curls

I use the curl defining gel with the activating lotion to keep my curls natural and tight and it has taken away the frizz and dryness without any crunchiness!
I love the bottles and scent, easy to use and apply to give natural looking curls throughout the day.

The activating lotion is light and easy to use, keeps my curls tight but without crunch or grease, the curls are much softer. I wet my hair each morning and apply the lotion to avoid frizz and keep the curls under control. The look is very natural.

Really disappointed with this shampoo. I purchased it from Boots online. From the first wash, it made my hair feel extremely dry in the shower and my fingers would get tangled through my hair while washing, which never normally happens. I also noticed a scary amount of hair fall during washing. At first, I thought maybe my scalp or hair just needed time to adjust to a new shampoo, so I kept trying it. After 4–5 washes, there’s been no improvement — if anything, it feels worse.
The conditioner and curl cream are actually lovely and work well for me, so this is specifically about the shampoo. Unfortunately, it just feels too harsh and stripping for my hair. I’m very disappointed, especially as I now have a full bottle left that I don’t feel comfortable using.

When the balance isn’t quite right, it can sometimes lead to the feeling of dryness or tangling you mentioned.
We also just want to gently reassure you that increased shedding in the shower can often feel more noticeable when switching shampoos, especially if the hair is being handled a little more during wash day, although we completely understand how concerning that must have felt.

It may also be helpful to mention that our styling products are generally designed to provide a gentle to medium hold, helping to create soft, natural-looking waves and curls. This means they may not offer the same level of hold as some stronger-hold products on the market, particularly if longer-lasting definition is your top priority.
