Really disappointed with this shampoo. I purchased it from Boots online. From the first wash, it made my hair feel extremely dry in the shower and my fingers would get tangled through my hair while washing, which never normally happens. I also noticed a scary amount of hair fall during washing. At first, I thought maybe my scalp or hair just needed time to adjust to a new shampoo, so I kept trying it. After 4–5 washes, there’s been no improvement — if anything, it feels worse.
The conditioner and curl cream are actually lovely and work well for me, so this is specifically about the shampoo. Unfortunately, it just feels too harsh and stripping for my hair. I’m very disappointed, especially as I now have a full bottle left that I don’t feel comfortable using.

Left my hair with a weird texture that prevented my curls from forming juicy clumps when wet, and ultimately looked stringy and frizzy when dried. It took a couple of washes with my regular (not Flora & Curl) shampoo to correct.

I really want to like this wash day kit. I like the packaging. I love the company- they were so helpful with picking the right products. My hair is a bit softer after a few washes. But I do not like the smell of the shampoo or conditioner. I don’t find it pleasant. I’m always sweating at work, I want my hair to smell good, and I want to enjoy washing my hair. I can’t get past the smell of this.
