Love These products!

I have been using these products for a while now and I like them a lot. The hair butter is nice and soft, I just using on my tips. The hair mist is more versatile I think, I can use it to refresh my curls and to control my frizz from loose hair for example. I like the smell, lavender is the predominant scent I can notice from it.

Didn’t love everything, but liked being able to try

I absolutely love the hair oil. The hair mist is also good and especially useful for freshening up. I haven’t used the clay yet and did not like the shampoo or conditioner. Getting the discovery kit was worth it to try the products and figure out which ones work best for your hair.

Curly Hair Travel Essentials: 5 Things You Just Can't Live Without

It's holiday season, and with Spring here and Summer just around the corner, there are 5 important things for you to keep in mind while travelling. These 5 tips will definitely make your travel experience a little easier.

TIP 1: Travel Product/Travel Storage

One of the most important things for a curly girl to remember is to check the sizing of your products. Products that you are taking in your hand luggage on a plane must be under 100ml. There's nothing worse than going through security, seeing your bag being pulled to the side and watching them throw away your brand new hair mist or leave-in conditioner to refresh your curls after a long flight. The best thing to do is either invest in travel size products, or buy travel size storage containers to fill with your favourite go to products.

TIP 2: Travel Light

Depending on how long you travel for, is there really any need for you to bring your whole wash day routine on holiday with you? If travelling for a short period of time, you maybe able to get away with doing your whole wash day routine a day or so before you travel.

TIP 3: Satin Pillow Case/Silk or Satin Scarf

Have you ever walked into a hotel room and seen a satin pillow case? I didn't think so. You wouldn't dry you hair with a regular towel, so why punish your curls and rub them on a cotton pillow case. Satin/silk scarfs and satin pillow cases take up hardly any room at all so there's no excuse not to pack your essential sleep wear.

TIP 4: Diffuse Much?

Other than air drying, most of you like to diffuse your curly tresses. Most hotels have their own hair dryer, so why not take a portable diffuser head. Just check with the hotel a head of time whether a hair dryer is available, a voila! Now you have extra room in your suitcase to do more shopping.

TIP 5: Protective Styling

Having you hair up in a pineapple, bun or braids etc, will give your hair a break and protect it from breaking, giving better protection for your natural curls. Why not rock a head wrap. Just remember keeping your hair moisturised while protective styling is super important.
