Giving back is something that we pride ourselves on. As a team, every year, as part of our 1% for the world campaign, we collectively think about the charitable organisations that we can support. We carefully assess their impact, transparency and strategic efforts that are making a real difference. We ensure that we are supporting charities and non-profit organisations that are working hard to make a change to make the world a much better place.
Our vision is to inspire confidence through clean and transparent hair care. We care not only about creating natural and safe products but also about playing a part in supporting a better society. We launched our Giving Back initiative in September 2019. Every month we donate 1% of net sales to non-profit causes that are closest to our hearts. In giving back to socially impactful charities, we hope that we will shine some love onto as many people as possible.

You're Restoring Earth's Lungs With WeForest
To stay below a temperature rise of 2 degrees, we need to remove the excess carbon from our atmosphere. A simple nature-based solution exists. WeForest works with communities and local organisations to build scalable reforestation projects, support livelihoods and protect natural environments from erosion and degradation. We donate to support the restoration of the Earth's lungs.
Flora & Curl's current project is supporting the reforestation efforts of WeForest in Zambia's deforestation hotspot in the Copperbelt.
Since 2011, WeForest has engaged hundreds of farmers in the Luanshya province regenerating over 2000ha through assisted natural regeneration. Find more info on the current project here. This programme is scaling up into 2 new districts with thousands more farmers and building more forest-friendly business like beekeeping. WeForest will monitor numbers of farmers, trees and hectares as well as beehives.

You're Saying No To Period Poverty With Days For Girls
DFG increases access to menstrual care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating Social Entrepreneurs, mobilizing volunteers to shatter stigma and limitations for women and girls.
With our donations, Days for Girls Kits are distributed and educational campaigns are spread across Africa to enhance access and knowledge about menstrual care. We are so proud to share that we have funded 140 girls in remote villages of Malawi. Read our August partnership update.
You're Helping Save Lives With Médecins Sans Frontières
Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is a global healthcare non-governmental charity that delivers healthcare and medical aid to the people around the world who need it most, no matter where they are in the world. MSF is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.
